A seal in a beanie, on the pocket. It's bobbing about in three lines of water in an orange hat, built for the cold from birth and still not taking any chances. The back is left plain.
Underneath, it's a heavy crewneck: 380gsm, 85% cotton, cut loose with a dropped shoulder. The patch pocket holds a phone and not much else. And with no hood, there's nothing to sit wet against the back of your neck on the drive home.
THE FIT
Loose, with a dropped shoulder. Take your usual size for the intended relaxed fit, or size down if you want it closer. XS to 2XL, unisex.
Wash at 30°C or cooler, inside out, on a gentle cycle. No bleach. Tumble dry low or, better, hang it up, because heat is what lifts a print. Don't iron over the pocket, and don't dry clean it.
